Truman

One of Abby's puppies from her first litter, passed over the rainbow bridge.  Truman, who split his time between homes  in Cleveland, Ohio,  and Boca Grand, Florida, was killed in a tragic auto accident.  Nancy & Bill, their children and grandchildren, and all Truman's friends, both human and four legged are just totally devastated over his passing.

Nancy first wrote to me inquiring about getting a puppy from us in early 2003. Through our emails and telephone calls, we quickly became great friends. We have so much in common.  Nancy drove to NJ to visit and bond with the puppies before making up her mind that she wanted Truman to take home.

Early life for Truman was wonderful with eight siblings and a loving mother, Abby and "Grandmother" Carol.  In his new home, Truman's life was like a Berner dream.  Nancy and Bill loved him dearly and took him everywhere. Truman rode the golf cart, had the ocean at his door, had playmates at the park, and many grandchildren that adored him.  He was a very happy Berner who loved his family, and had a family that was totally devoted to him.

Truman is no longer with us but he will always be in our hearts.   When someone as sweet as Truman is lost, the memories become precious.  Love always, Carol, Abby, and siblings Bella, Bridget, Diesel, Kona, Otis, Patches, Sasha, and Tola.
