My dear Tara was put to peace on March 18th. Tara was such a gentle giant. Weighing in at 98 lbs., she was a very sweet and gentle pet to all. Lovingly, I called our group the Berner/Shepherd bunch.
Tara was diagnosed with arthritis about two years ago. When it became apparent her quality of life had deteriorated to the point of being uncomfortable, I had to make that difficult decision that it was time to say goodbye. She had a very happy life with many other dogs to play with. Tara left us very peacefully I was with her as she took her last breath in my arms.
Goodbye dear friend, you will always be remembered in my mind and heart. Mom
